Con motivo de la festividad de la liberación de la ocupación nazi, Amnistía Internacional Holanda ha desarrollado una intensa campaña de solidaridad con el líder del MCL preso de conciencia Eduardo Cardet
DIEMEN – Amnistía Internacional lleva a cabo el jueves 4 º de mayo de uno una campaña de firmas por Eduardo Cardet . La acción tiene lugar en la biblioteca pública y dura 10:00-16:00.
La policía sacó el cubano Eduardo Cardet el 30 de noviembre de su bicicleta el año pasado. Fue detenido con dureza. Recientemente, recibió tres años de prisión porque habría golpeado a un policía durante su detención. Los testigos afirman lo contrario. Con toda probabilidad Cardet condenado porque él dijo en una entrevista a la radio española tras la muerte de Fidel Castro Castro al pueblo de Cuba no era exactamente amada.
Amnistía Internacional pide a las autoridades cubanas a liberar inmediatamente a Eduardo Cardet.

Más de 1000 firmas por la libertad de Eduardo Cardet Amnesty Roermond 4 de mayo, conmemoramos los muertos de la Segunda Guerra Mundial. El 5 de mayo 2017 que podría ser fotografiado en la Freedom Plaza sí mismo mientras estuviste delante de la Declaración Universal de Derechos Humanos. Amnesty International Student Group Utrecht – AISU5th of May: AISU @ Freedom Festival Utrecht
On the 5th of May, on the Dutch ‘Day of Freedom’, AISU will be representing Amnesty International at the Freedom Festival in Utrecht! On this important day we have to stand up against human rights violations: The case Amnesty chose to fight for this year is the unjust imprisonment of Eduardo Cardet from Cuba.
Eduardo Cardet is the leader of the Christian Freedom Movement (MCL), a group that fights for more democracy on the island. In March 2016, the MCL presented more than 10000 signatures to the government for a reformation of the constitution. The reformation is about freedom of speech, open elections, freedom of religion and amnesty for political prisoners. According to the Cuban law, citizens can submit a bill if it is supported by more than 10.000 citizens.
The Cuban authorities resent members of the MCL because of their commitment to democracy. In an interview, Cardet discussed the unpopularity of Castro and five days after the death of Castro, on November the 30rd, Cardet was arrested and indicted for pushing an agent. He got sentenced to three years in prison. It is more likely that Cardet was arrested because of his activities for the MCL.
