Last weekend, during an event organised by our friends from NNGG Palencia (Spain), our treasurer Maru Pardal met the Cuban activists Regis Iglesias, and Carlos Payá,from the Movimiento Cristiano Liberación, founded by the late Oswaldo Payá; as well as Leopoldo Lopez, father of the Venezuelan opposition leader Leopoldo López, unfairly imprisioned by the authoritarian regime of Nicolás Maduro, having the chance to debate about the grim reality they are facing every day to fight for their rights in their countries, led by dictatorial regimes.
