El parlamenteo Europeo ha invitado a Oswaldo Payá a la celebración de los 20 años del premio Sakharov en diciembre, durante la sesión plenaria en Estrasburgo.Una copia de la invitación sera enviada a la delegación del Parlamento Europeo en Cuba. El Parlamento europeo hará las gestiones pertienentes ante las autoridades cubanas para que Oswaldo Payá sea autorizado a asitir a este evento.
